“ In 2011 Ian and his staff did a large renovation job for us, completely altering two bathrooms, the laundry and two bedrooms and changing the house layout. 

The work was of the highest quality and we were really thrilled with the result.  In addition, the guys always turned up on time and when they said they would and suggested re-using doors and skirting so that a good match was made and the cost was reduced.

More recently, following the big storm in 2013, they replaced our patio roof which disappeared in the wind.  Again we were absolutely satisfied with the result and the speed with which the job was carried out.

“ Construction began in October 2010, to build a 4 bedroom house in Gibbons Street, Upper Hutt, by Sherwin Construction.  The design was made by the owners, and Sherwin Construction had an Architect to draw up the plans.  We were fortunate enough to be able to change some of the interior plans to suit ourselves, hence what we have today.

The house has wooden framing, and brick work on the outside, with iron tile roofing, and double glaze windows throughout, with double garage.

Sherwin Construction had finished the building early in January 2011, which was just over 3 months to construct.  The communication between the two parties were second to none.  As a consequence we are very pleased with the finished product. 

We would not hesitate in recommending Sherwin Construction to anybody who wanted to build a new home.  There was also plenty of communication between Sub Contractors, the builders themselves and ourselves, of which we were very pleased and comfortable with.”
